Applications
Where and why humidity control is needed, which levels we maintain and which series fits each case.
Warehouses & logistics
Target RH: 45–55%Moisture damages packaging, cardboard, metal and electronics. Stable humidity protects stock and reduces write-offs.
Basements & underground spaces
Target RH: 50–60%Mould, odours, damp walls and condensation — a dehumidifier deals with the cause, not the symptoms.
Wine cellars & cold storage
Target RH: 60–75%Standard units ice up at low temperatures. The low-temperature series works down to 0°C with automatic defrost.
Production facilities
Target RH: 40–60%In food, chemical, printing and electronics production, humidity is part of product quality.
Archives, libraries & museums
Target RH: 45–55%Paper, leather and wood absorb moisture. A concealed ceiling system keeps the interior intact and runs quietly.
Pharmacy & laboratories
Target RH: 40–50%Medicines and samples need strict storage conditions — automatic control holds the set level.
Drying rooms
Process-dependentTimber, fruit, tobacco, ceramics — the high-temperature series works up to 58°C and speeds up drying.
Construction & renovation
Fast dryingPlaster, screed and paint dry faster — so projects finish on schedule.
The humidity values shown are typical guidelines. We confirm the exact level required for your product or standard when preparing the quote.
Why excess moisture is a problem
Mould and bacteria
Above roughly 60–70% humidity, mould spreads quickly on walls, packaging and goods.
Corrosion and damage
Metal rusts, electronics fail, timber and paper deform.
Condensation
Water collects on cold surfaces — floors, ceilings and stock get wet.
